Senior Softball USA Bat Policy

Senior Softball-USA has licensed new senior bats and published an Approved Bat List for all sanctioned SS-USA Tournaments. This policy was implemented for two reasons:

First and foremost, it is designed to protect our players and the sport. In the past few years, several entities have begun developing senior bats. This policy provides a significant barrier to bat manufacturers who do not have the wherewithal to establish manufacturing procedures that meet minimum industry standards to ensure bats are consistently meeting standards...

SS-USA (ASA ) Sanctioned Senior Softball Bats

In the picture, Neil (Batman) Spitz, (on the left in the picture), our resident senior bat expert is informing a new player, Perry Cartwright, about the ASA sanctioned senior softball bats. Neil, being a nice guy, will let Perry use his sanctioned bat until Perry purchases his own bat. Perry did bring an aluminum bat and was strongly advised not to use it.
